So adding that with what Hayate heard (if you haven't seen his video yet, watch it) speaks well to his chances of returning. Zasalamel is a character I haven't outright heard is definitely coming back, but that it's "very likely" that he returns was what was told to me in regards to him. Nightmare, Siegfried, Xianghua, Talim, and Tira are back alongside Kilik with his staff moveset again. The weapon switch/multiple moveset idea was intentionally meant to be highlighted, exist, and live on in the new character that uses two swords that he can combine together and also fight with that way. Though I can't say for sure yet if there is definitely a connection between the two, but it would make sense. But there was some kind of V-Trigger styled mechanic in the game as far back as July, which could tie into retaining semblances of it and what they could in certain characters. Mostly abandoned in the form they wanted it originally be as far as I know to get the game out of development hell because of it. Some serious problems arose because of it. They tried weapon switch/multiple moveset thing and were dedicated to making it work. Here is some more about the development timeline: There is another new character that I also know about who is connection to that new guy as well, but I cannot say anything about him yet. The new guy uses two swords that he can fight with separate, or combine them and fight that way. More like Cao Pi's Dual Blade from Dynasty Warriors 5 and 8 from what I hear, which is the same idea. I needed a visual to express the idea.Īnd before you worry, no, it's not a lightsaber, they are swords. lolīut his weapon was the inspiration for the new guy's. You know that style switching/multiple moveset thing I was talking about?īefore you ask, no, the character is not Darth Maul. "So you know that newcomer I was talking about? Speaking of that new guy, the one they briefly showed at the end of the SCVI trailer? I knew about him beforehand and posted about him here: The Switch version announcement is due out later because of Nintendo reasons. Like for example, I never said there would be no Xbox One version, just that I had heard not about it. Just like I somehow "guessed" SCVI would have a V-Trigger styled mechanic (which it does) and the new guy at the end of the trailer, right?ĭumbasses like you like to go out of your way and discredit me baselessly without even paying attention to what I'm even saying.
